• Classroom-based theory and practical demonstrations
• Includes real-life practice with objects and equipment
• Maximum 12 learners per course

• Risk assessment examples

- Use correct posture and body mechanics to reduce strain
- Understand the importance of team handling
- Safely use equipment and aids (trolleys, hoists, etc.)
- Carry out a dynamic risk assessment before moving objects
